Why You Should Schedule A Dental Appointment Right Away
Did we recommend a dental treatment for you or a loved one, but you haven’t scheduled the appointment yet? We know that many of our patients have hectic schedules. Between work obligations, family activities, trying to see friends, and holiday festivities, there is never a dull moment. No matter how busy you may be, it is important to make your dental health a priority. Now is the perfect time to schedule an appointment for a recommended treatment or oral hygiene examination because, if you have dental insurance, you are likely to lose any remaining benefits on December 31st. We certainly don’t want you to miss out on money that is owed to you. Read on to learn more.
Schedule Your Appointment Today!
If we recommended a dental treatment for you or a loved one during your last visit, we encourage you to contact our office as soon as possible to schedule the appointment, because dental problems do not heal on their own. We never want a patient to endure unnecessary discomfort or costs. Unfortunately, however, the longer a dental treatment is delayed, the greater the chance of needing an emergency treatment.
A simple filling can easily turn into a much more involved procedure. For instance, if we find a cavity and recommend a filling, but the patient keeps delaying treatment, the cavity will only grow and compromise the tooth further. After a certain point, a filling will no longer be enough to fix it. Instead, it will require a more invasive and costly procedure, like a crown or possibly a root canal, or, in extreme cases, an extraction. The good news is that all of that potential pain and expense can be avoided by getting a recommended treatment promptly.
Don’t Lose Your Insurance Benefits
Many dental insurance benefits expire at the end of the calendar year, which is fast approaching. If you don’t use your benefits, you will lose them. This makes it the perfect time to contact our office to schedule any needed appointments.
If you are ready to schedule an appointment, please call our office, which is located in Wellington, FL. As always, if you experience a dental emergency, call us as soon as possible. We also recommend that you schedule an appointment for a hygiene examination if you haven’t visited our office within the past six months. We would hate for you to miss out on the dental insurance benefits you have remaining. We look forward to seeing you soon.
